Bring Michael Fassbender Home! (Yes, really!)

Re: the blog title - I WISH. *wink* I have to give full credit for the blog post title to Heroes & Heartbreakers. :)

Yes, people, in case you forgot, today is the day you can bring Jane Eyre home with you for your very own on DVD - the film that inspired glowing accolades from yours truly and a record-setting comment thread the likes of which this blog had never seen! :)

You can read my review of Jane Eyre HERE. If you missed this film when it was in theaters earlier this year, I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on it! :)

@Renee - We should work out a schedule. HA!!! ;)

@Lori Benton - You're welcome! I can't wait to hear what you think of it! :)

@Lori - HAHA!!! I know, right? I couldn't resist - it certainly grabs one's attention. :)

Oh did I mention that I rented this on Amazon Instant video a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely LOVED it! Even though it wasn't quite as in-depth as the 2006 tv version it was still amazing and I loved Michael and Mia, they had perfect chemistry!

XOXO~ Renee C.
p.s I'm waiting patiently for Michael's visit. Hehehe

I've had this day marked on my calendar for some time now! :) I picked up the DVD at Target and just finished watching it a few minutes ago...I absolutely loved it! I think I'm going to try and watch it again before I do a blog post.

It made me even more anxious to read the book again. :) And I've added the mini-series (2006?) to my Netflix queue.

It's on my list of things to get tomorrow! So excited to share it with my sister who just read the book for the first time and has never seen any of the movies! (I know, a travesty. But I've been pulling her math brain into the world of fiction little by little!)

I am so glad to be here where I can admit that I have daily tracked my Amazon shipment so that I know when to expect Michael at my house.

sad but true. And I knew you'd understand.

@Renee - Oh my goodness, no you did not mention this fact! That's awesome, glad you enjoyed it! I would love to have seen what Michael & Mia would've done with the luxury of a 4 hour adaptation, wouldn't you?

@Kristin - I'm so happy you loved it! :) I can't wait to read your blog on the subject. :) So you've never seen the 2006 miniseries version? That one is FABULOUS too!

@Anne - That is fantastic, spread the Jane love! :) Hope you & your sister both love this film. :)

@Debra - Oh I always want this blog to be a safe place to admit those types of things - because as I'm sure you know, I COMPLETELY understand. :) COMPLETELY.

Hurray! You know I did ;) the only thing that I thought was a bit of the a let down is the special features. I guess I wanted hour upon hour and special upon special about the movie, the book, etc. ;) I'm like that.

This is such a gorgeous movie. One I know I'll play over and over as I paint!~

@Heather - You know if they ever release some super-deluxe version of this film, I'm totally falling for the double-dip ploy and buying it. ;)

I just saw it last week, but have yet to write my review of the film. It was by far the most amazing adaptation yet. Ohmigoodness. I was absolutely captivated. I couldn't think of better actors to play Jane and Rochester. They were absolutely perfect.

...Okay, enough gushing. :)

Gush on, Kate, Gush on.

Watched it last night, just as lovely as I remembered. What did everyone think of the deleted scenes? Rochester pleading at the door...why didn't that make the main film?? Me like!

@Kate - Oh, I look forward to reading your review of the film! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! (And one can never gush too much about Jane and Rochester here, just so you know.) ;)

@Debra - Amen and amen. :)

@Jeanne - I LOVED the Rochester-pleading-at-the-door scene! That was brilliant! *sigh* Glad to have finally seen it on DVD...
