Once Upon a Time @ Comic-Con

Came back this afternoon to tons of fantastic spoilers about the upcoming fifth season of Once Upon a Time -- this Dark Swan storyline is going to be sooooo good!! Here's a few videos and links.

Comic-Con video - "The Dark Swan" - No new footage here, but Ginnifer Goodwin's narration tracing Emma's journey is absolutely heartbreaking.



First look at...MERIDA!! Can't wait! Also, a chilling video clip featuring the introduction of Dark Swan, in what looks to be Rumple's old Enchanted Forest jail cell...or very like it. I have to think Jennifer Morrison is going to enjoy the chance to play a dark Emma. Also, the black feathers in the promo? FAB work there.

Storybrooke gets Frozen...

With Once Upon a Time's fourth season set to premiere Sunday, September 28th (how on EARTH is it September already?!), ABC has finally dropped some fresh promos introducing Frozen's Elsa to Storybrooke...and vice-versa. The reception is (no pun intended) a trifle chilly...

This Sunday Once Upon a Time ends its third season with a TWO HOUR finale. There are lots of good spoilers HERE, if you are so inclined.

Once has also been officially renewed for a fourth season!

To celebrate, I'm going to continue doing what I've done all week, which is stare at these photos of Hook and Emma from the finale, because they make my Captain Swan-shipping heart SO FRIGGIN' HAPPY.

Emma's dress! I DIE. That look on Hook's face? I CANNOT DEAL WITH THAT LOOK ON HIS FACE.

If this doesn't happen again...it's going to be a long summer hiatus, people.

Guys, I am SO stupid invested in shipping Robin and Regina on Once Upon a Time...so needless to say this kinda made my day. I can't stop laughing. (via Tumblr)

Once returns this Sunday!

Once Upon a Time finally returns this Sunday, and people I am SO excited! That mid-season finale just about did me in!!



I highly recommend reading this article which dishes up some spoilers -- and a heck of a lot of useful set-up info -- for this half of the third season.

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland - first look!

Last week the rumored Once Upon a Time spin-off received a series order from ABC and the first official image from the project was released, featuring Sophie Lowe as Alice. Here's the series description:

In Victorian England, the young and beautiful Alice (Sophie Lowe) tells a tale of a strange new land that exists on the other side of a rabbit hole.  An invisible cat, a hookah smoking caterpillar and playing cards that talk are just some of the fantastic things she’s seen during this impossible adventure.  Surely this troubled girl must be insane and her doctors aim to cure her with a treatment that will make her forget everything.  Alice seems ready to put it all behind her, especially the painful memory of the genie she fell in love with and lost forever — the handsome and mysterious Cyrus (Peter Gadiot).  But deep down Alice knows this world is real and just in the nick of time, the sardonic Knave of Hearts (Michael Socha) and the irrepressible White Rabbit (John Lithgow) arrive to save her from a doomed fate. Together, the trio will take a tumble down the rabbit hole to this Wonderland where nothing is impossible.

The title -- Once Upon a Time in Wonderland -- is ridiculously clunky, but you know I'll be watching. :)

Once Upon a Time - the Graphic Novel preview!

For some reason I am super-excited about this -- mainly because the cover is GORGEOUS, I suppose. On September 4th the first Once Upon a Time graphic novel will release, entitled Shadow of the Queen. The story will fit into the show's continuity as it follows the events of the season one episode that RIPPED MY HEART OUT, "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter." Once Upon a Time - the novel!

ABC is continuing its tradition of publishing novel tie-ins to popular shows (i.e. Castle) by releasing Reawakened in just a few weeks -- the first in what may be a series of books. Per the Entertainment Weekly article, the "novelization of the show’s first season and promises to give “fans of the show a whole new look at their favorite characters and stories.” The narrative will be told in alternating points-of-view—that of Emma Swan (portrayed by Jennifer Morrison in the show) in the real world of Storybrooke, and Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) in Fairy Tale Land. The novel is written by Odette Beane, and based upon the TV series by Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis."

where Once is stressing me out

Avert your eyes if you're behind on Once Upon a Time...I can't help myself, I have to discuss. Much is being made over this coming Sunday's episode ("The Miller's Daughter") which supposedly ends with some sort of heartbreaking death. Here's the episode teaser:

ROBERT CARLYLE CUT OUT MY HEART ALREADY WHY DON'T YOU??

Somebody, FOR THE LOVE please reassure me that the show isn't going to kill off Gold. I seriously COULD NOT TAKE THAT. I think I could deal with just about anyone else but if Gold goes I may never recover.

I'd love to hear your theories on what this upcoming episode has in store...make me feel better about Rumbelle, people!!!
