Book Giveaway: Fatal Judgment by Irene Hannon

Since it's Monday, and since I have several blogs in various "draft" stages that need to be completed (including, but not limited to, a review of Downton Abbey Part Four - how fabulous was that?!, reviews of episodes 4 and 5 of Primeval, and a couple of book reviews), I thought it entirely appropriate to mark the last day of the first month of 2011 with a book giveway. One copy of Irene Hannon's latest, Fatal Judgment, is up for grabs.

About the book:

U.S. Marshal Jake Taylor has seen plenty of action during his years in law enforcement. But he'd rather go back to Iraq than face his next assignment: protection detail for federal judge Liz Michaels. His feelings toward the coldhearted workaholic haven't warmed in the five years since she drove her husband - and Jake's best friend - to despair...and possible suicide.

As the danger mounts and Jake gets to know Liz better, he's forced to revise his opinion of her. And when it becomes clear that an unknown enemy may want her dead, the stakes are raised. Because now both her life - and his heart - are in danger.

Full of suspense and romance, Fatal Judgment is a thrilling story that will keep you turning the pages late into the night.

Please don't enter me I read this book and loved it! I just HAD to leave a comment about Downton Abbey since you mentioned it. I seriously laughed my butt off at Maggie Smith last night! When she said "Put that in your pipe and smoke it" I nearly fell on the floor and at the garden party with her daughter? Hilarious! Best character in the series and one of the best actresses IMO!

XOXO~ Renee

Please don't enter me in the giveaway, but I hope you don't mind if I add that if anyone wants an extra shot at this book, I'm also giving the book away on my blog. :)

Okay, your review made me want to enter the giveaway! I'd love a chance to win the book and try this author. I'm a fan of old fashioned romantic suspense like Mary Stewart and Helen MacInnes. It's time to find a new favorite RS author!

I would love to read this and that's so neat that you have an endorsement quote!! I love a good suspense. Count me in.

I just finished a book I think you would enjoy since I notice you are a Ginger Garrett fan. Wolves Among Us was my first 5-star read of the year!

@Julia - Oh me too...Irene Hannon is my favorite suspense author since Dee Henderson. :) And I'm so excited to hear that Wolves Among Us are good! I love Ginger Garrett, and signed up for that book with CFBA...looking forward to getting my copy! Thanks for the heads up!

Very interesting view. I smell a pageturner! I love the fact that both Jake Taylor and Liz Michaels have baggage to deal with. That makes this book more interesting and more realistic!
