Downton Abbey continues Sunday with Part Three on Masterpiece Classic. I. Can't. WAIT. Here's a brief teaser about what's in store for us:
Don't miss an all-new episode of the runaway hit Downton Abbey, Sunday, January 23, 2011, on MASTERPIECE CLASSIC. Growing into his role as heir, Matthew brings out the bitter rivalry between sisters Mary and Edith. Servants Thomas and O'Brien scheme against Bates, while head housemaid Anna is increasingly attracted to him.I don't know how I'm going to deal with more Bates suffering at the hands of Thomas and O'Brien! And it sounds like Mary may be softening towards Matthew...which, as I suspected, is going to drive her sister Edith crazy. :) Here are links to my reviews of Part One and Two:

Ruth - I'm not much of a tv person, so it's been quite a while since I've planned my life around a show like Downtown Abbey! I can't wait 'til tomorrow night. I'm so glad Bates has Anna as an ally -- I think she's got his back no matter what the rest plot against him.
Also, I'm reading Kate Morton's The House at Riverton and I'm amazed at the similarities between Downton Abbey and this book. Not exactly the same plot, but very similar. I highly recommed that you look into it! My review will be coming shortly.
@Joanne - Downton Abbey is definitely appointment TV viewing! I'm so bummed that this series ends next week. *sigh* Anyways...you have me VERY intrigued about Kate Morton's book! While I love the fact that Downton is an original drama, there is a part of me that's wished that it was a book so I could spend more time with these characters. If The House at Riverton is close to that I'll definitely want to check it out!
