Is it January yet?

Because just looking at the new cast photo for Downton Abbey season three, I'm thinking it should be...

You can read a few minor spoilers for the upcoming season here at the Masterpiece website. I also can't resist sharing this photo of Hugh Bonneville from the recent press tour. Needless to say, Lord Grantham, I couldn't agree more. :)

*sigh*

I wish it were January - or in my case, February! My aunt was just asking the other day when the new season was coming and I was like, "not for a while."

On the upside, winter will be here before we know it. ;-)

@Joanne - Oh me too! These next few months will be maddening as more and more spoilers start to hit the internet!

@Rissi - I hope so -- I am so tired if this unbearably hot weather!

Goodness...the famous cast photo gets more crowded with each new season. They'll have to kill of a couple of characters this time around to make room for new ones in season 4. :)

Don't want to give away any of the minor spoilers from the PBS website, but don't tell me we're going to get *another* vicious villain. I don't think I can take it. :)

@Kristin - I know what you mean! And regarding possible new baddies...well Fellowes is keeping it fresh, hmm? ;)

I cannot wait! I'll probably see if I can stream the episodes when they are in the UK though.

Oooh, I cant wait! I am so looking forward to now they do the 1920s. Interesting to see Lady Sybil and Lady Mary in their more flapperish looks. I cant wait!!! Have I already said that?! lol

@Michelle - I'm going to try to hold out (again). We'll see how that goes lol! ;)

@Tasha B. - Maybe the Earl will have a sign painted a picket the prison? :P

@Heather - I'm really excited about the 1920s-era costuming as well -- such a fabulous era for fashion! :)

That picture is priceless! Did I also mention that Hugh Bonneville guests in Rev. too?? He's quite funny. I also saw a picture from some kind of 'free Bates' march on Brendan Coyle's twitter page. He retweeted it so I can't remember if there was any note about where it came from originally.

If you haven't already, visit downtonline.com -- there's already some hints, snippets, and a snarky early review of the first episode up.

@Lori - No, that's awesome! One more reason to check out that show. :)

@Charity - Thanks for the heads up, I really enjoyed reading that "first review"!
