I'm a big fan of the SyFy miniseries Tin Man and Alice (both of which I keep intending to blog about...someday...it will happen, think positively, right? *wink*). While watching the season finale of Eureka earlier this week, the station aired the a new (to me, anyway) preview for their next "fairy tale" miniseries event -- Neverland, airing this December. Here's the trailer:
This prequel to Peter Pan stars Anna Friel and Rhys Ifans -- looks excellent, whaddya think?
Ooooooooooooooooo I can't wait!
ReplyDelete@Juju - I know, me either! :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE SyFy's other productions (I am actually going to post "Alice" next week sometime). "Tin Man" was fun, "Alice" was unique, and I didn't expect to like either of them that well! Glad I did though. =D
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read everyone's thoughts on "Neverland" - it looks equally good, and I love Anna Friel as an actress.
@Rissi - Yay, another SyFy fan! I'll be looking forward to your Alice post. :) I adored that -- of course I have a thing for Andrew Lee Potts. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds awesome - and now I want to try out Tin Man and Alice too!
ReplyDelete@Katie - Oh my, you've never seen Tin Man or Alice? I think you'd love them!! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks really good! I've never seen Tin Man or Alice, either, though I always meant to. I guess I need to go see if they're available on Netflix! :)

@Kristin - I suspect you'll have luck in your quest. ;) Let me know what you think!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday! This has nothing to do with Neverland (although it does look interensting), but I desperately need your Doctor Who knowledge.
ReplyDeleteI've become quite fascinated with Doctor Who (okay, I'm obssessed), and I'm almost done with Series 4. Sadly, I won't be able to get Planet of the Dead from the library until NEXT weekend. Can I watch the specials out of order? Or should I stay strong, rewatch some of my favorite episodes, and hold out for Planet of the Dead after the Next Doctor?
Thanks!
At some point they're going to run out of books to adapt. ;)
ReplyDelete@Read the Book - Thank you! As to your Doctor Who question - first of all, welcome to the realm of obsessed fandom! :) As much as it pains me to say this, because I understand the torture it can be waiting for new episodes, I would definitely recommend watching the specials in order -- they drop little clues and hints that build to the final Tennant special, The End of Time. Stay strong! :)
ReplyDelete@heidenkind - HA!!! You are so right.
Thanks, Ruth! I actually just got an email that it is ready for me to pick up (!!!!!!). I'm not sure how it happened, but now I don't have to suffer ;)
ReplyDeleteIt was shown on Sky Movies earlier this year, but we don't subscribe to a package that includes that channel, so hoping Syfy UK will show this at some point. Probably not for a while, on the other hand. :( Looks good, though!
ReplyDelete@Read the Book - AWESOME! Hope you've enjoyed it! ;)
ReplyDelete@Traxy - Well it makes perfect sense to me that SyFy UK would show this -- at least I would hope so!!! Keeping my fingers crossed for you! ;)
