Julia McKenzie (Cranford) is back as Miss Marple in the all-new The Pale Horse, premiering Sunday, July 10, 2011 on MASTERPIECE MYSTERY! Miss Marple's old friend is found murdered, and when she receives a list of names sent by the victim before his death, Miss Marple seeks justice. What the above blurb neglects to mention is that this episode features a favorite of mine - the one and only JJ Feild of Northanger Abbey fame!

I am so excited about this episode!! :D I've seen a couple of older Miss Marple episodes, but I can't wait to see this one, especially because JJ Feild is in it! ;D He was so adorable in Northanger Abbey!
By the way, I'm planning on doing a "Mystery Week" on my blog in a little over a week, and hopefully I'll have some PBS Masterpiece reviews then. :)

Ooh, ooh, ooh! I *have* read this one (hehe)! And I loved the hero (ok, I love all AC heroes. The end)! And JJ as him....oms, this will be good. :-)
I'm back! ;) I just wanted to let you know that you were "tagged" on my blog today. :) No need to participate if you don't want to, but if you're interested here's the URL:

@Amber S. - Hope you enjoyed it, even though JJ wasn't the type I expected. ;) Review coming later today! Looking forward to your Mystery Week - and thanks for the tag, I'm honored, but fair warning I am the world's WORST at keeping up with tags. *sigh* :P
@Alexandra - Okay, after watching the episode I'm guessing that JJ didn't play your favorite character, or else they REALLY rewrote the novel. Hopefully my post will be up later today!
Ruth,
I really enjoyed it, although JJ was quite different in this episode, wasn't he? ;) He did a great job, though, in my opinion!
I wrote my review, but it won't be going up until next week. I'm definitely excited for Mystery Week! :)
And don't worry about the "tag"--I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you and your blog!

@Amber S. - JJ did do a great job, didn't he? When he "flipped that switch" I was super impressed! :) I'm really looking forward to your own "Mystery Week"!
And thanks for the blog shout-out, that means a lot!
