'Masterpiece' has 'Great Expectations' - Entertainment News, TV News, Media - Variety
There will be a definite Dickens focus to Masterpiece Classic next year. :) So far the cast includes Gillian Anderson (Bleak House), Harry Lloyd (Will Scarlett in BBC's Robin Hood), and Ray Winstone.

I'm surprisingly excited about this. I must admit that I absolutely detested the book when I first read it, but after reading it for school and actually delving into its complexities it grew on me a little. I hope this one is good, but wasn't there a miniseries that came out just a few years ago or am I underestimating just how long ago it was?
