Happy The King's Speech release day! I am so excited about getting to see this amazing film again. If you missed it in theaters, I do hope you'll check out the DVD this week. As far as I'm concerned, this film deserved every single accolade and award it received. Here's the movie trailer:

That was unbelievably fast. Brian hasn't seen it so I get to see it again. We still haven't seen Harry Potter! This weekend for both, hopefully.
@Lori - I know, but I can't complain. :) I wonder if there was an extra push to get the film released to capitalize on interest in the royal family with the upcoming weddding all over the news?
I loved this movie! I thought all the actors did an amazing job and it so deserved all the awards it got. It really made you feel for the royal family too. His family situation just broke my heart. It just goes to show that even in the wealthiest of homes, everything isnt perfect. Also made me sympathize a bit with his daughter, the future queen. You can understand people so much more when you see where they're coming from.
@Heather - You are SO right! This film was really an eye-opener, and it suggested some fascinating insight into Elizabeth II's character.
YIPEEEE!!!! We pre-ordered it from Amazon and it shipped yesterday! CANNOT WAIT!!!!
Sorry about the hyperventilating. :-) This is my most anticipated film in a loooooong time! :-)
