Here's a special sneak preview to the newest version of Jane Austen's Emma, starring Romola Garai and Jonny Lee Miller (*swoon*!), set to air on Masterpiece Classic 1/24/10.
I've seen the first three parts! I'm not sure that I love it as much as the previous versions with Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Beckinsale but it's pretty good so far!
@Renee - Very cool! Normally I would be hunting these down to watch online as well, but for some reason haven't been inspired enough, I guess. :) I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I know PBS will be airing them in January - unlike many other British "imports" that air across the pond with no announced air date in the States. THOSE frustrate me to no end.

Ruth, This looks GREAT:) Thanks for the update. Clean, uplifting, fun, romantic, no TSTL stuff either, I bet:)
@Laura - One can only hope TSTL doesn't touch this production with a ten-foot pole. Though admittedly Emma can be a trying heroine. :)
Squeeeee! How exciting.
I only managed to see the first two episodes of this before internet issues ruined things for me, but I enjoyed it.
I have to admit, though that Gwyneth Paltrow (they could be PIRATES!) is nigh-untouchable as Emma for me.
