Christmas comes early...

It is no great secret that I love Michael Buble, right? Didn't think so. *wink* On October 24th the crooner finally (FINALLY) releases his first full-length Christmas album (in a regular and special edition, the latter -- to my knowledge -- only available through his website).

I was thrilled when a couple of preview videos finally started showing up online. The first video features Michael covering one of my all-time favorite Christmas songs, Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas is You":



The second video covers the recording of "Holly Jolly Christmas":



So, who else is looking forward to this album as much as I am? :)

Michael Buble - 12.5.10

Saturday night I received a text from a dear friend informing me that there were four tickets in my name at Will Call for the Michael Buble show the next night. *dramatic pause* Excuse me while I squeal with joy again. :) This is my third Buble show, and I perhaps have to rank it as the best yet. Here's some pictures (our seats were center stage, row 14, so this is the first time I've been able to get some really good concert shots):

Buble is an amazing live performer. He's got a stereotypical frat boy's sense of humor, so it's a bit on the crass side. But the guy is hilarious and undeniably talented, and I'd wager you'd be hardpressed to find a performer who loves what he does as much as Michael makes glaringly apparent in his shows. The guy really does give his all for his fans. Till next time, MB! :)

Michael Buble's "Hollywood" video

Michael Buble's new video for his latest single, "Hollywood," debuted today. The single will appear on his forthcoming Crazy Love Hollywood Edition CD which will release on 10/25.



While I'd prefer an album of entirely new music, I'm always happy for any new Michael Buble songs. :)

The video gives you a brief sample of "Cry Me a River" - the arrangment just blows me away! BTW, according to MB's website and Amazon, the release date is October 9th - last time I checked, that's a Friday. Since when do new releases street on Fridays and not Tuesdays...??
