I've been feeling this more and more about pairs of actors recently.
I can't tell if I've become more observant, more integrated/interconnected in my mind, or if (this is embarrassing) I'm just watching more TV than ever before... ;)
Are you not absolutely in love with the last few eps of Once Upon a Time?!?! I haven't been able to catch up on this Sunday's ep yet but I say bring on more Mr. Gold backstory!!
That's all I can think of just now for searchable images, but I did have two actor look-alikes in real-life:
This guy in the Toastmaster's club I visited that I went, 'Wow, he's like a blond Sherlock. Waitaminute, BC *is* blond!'
Gave me the uncomfortable revelation that I have a corner of fangirl in me.
And I also met a dude who looks like a handsomer (as in healthier-looking- tan and fit) Robert Patterson. He was visiting his parents who attended our church at the time.
No fan-girlly here-- all buisiness. Gave him relationship advice-- 'cause the opening presented itself and that's kinda the way I roll (I've got a mother-of-the-world legacy I'm sort-of growing into. I'll make more sense to people in 20 years.)
The cool part out of that is his mom brought back the report that what I said actually meant something.
Maybe I tell that story because watching all the famous people with their issues, I want to think I can help at least a few invisible people.
@Amy Jane - Oh my goodness, you are SO right about Natasha Richardson and Emma Thompson!! I think they could definitely be sisters. Cohen and RDJ...maybe cousins in my mind. ;)
That is a great story about the Robert P. look-a-like! There is no telling how your time and words might have ministered to him!!
I really hope you're planning on continuing your OUAT reviews...I just caught up on the last couple of episodes last night and I need to hear your thoughts. :)
{I have never been one of those people who liked the bad boy characters. But oh my goodness...I think I have a crush on Hook. :) }
I glad I'm not the only to have noticed this (for a while I thought I might have been a bit crazy) It's also kinda of weird that they we're both born in January in 1981 in Ireland.
Sorry for the word verification & comment moderation, but lately the spammers have been out in force. Hopefully this will just be a temporary situation!
They definitely shop at the same store.

I miss Jonas Armstrong's cheeky Robin Hood. :)
@Rissi - Wait until you meet Hook, he's the next best thing. ;)

ReplyDelete@Lori - Yes, yes I am! I promise! But the sad thing is I'm starting to think I'll never catch up on my Once blogging... :P
ReplyDeleteJust a couple in my head in my head right now:
ReplyDeleteNatasha Richardson (Parent Trap 1998)& Emma Thompson, (facial expressions, acting choices...).
Scott Cohen (10th Kingdom) and Robert Downey Jr.

ReplyDelete@Kristin - I don't know if I'll EVER catch up. =P But I suppose it would be fun to try. :)

So true! I thought that when I first saw Colin on Once Upon A Time.
