The trailer for the upcoming film Hitchcock has been released and I am SO intrigued:
The film stars Anthony Hopkins as Hitchcock, Helen Mirren as his wife Alma Reville, Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh, and James D'Arcy as Anthony Perkins. It's slated for release in November!

Hmmm......I wonder how this will be.....
Kind of disappointed Hopkins didn't even TRY to imitate the way Hitchcock spoke. Also, I don't want to see Hitch and Alma fight. :(

@Tasha - I think maybe I don't know enough about Hitchcock's marriage? Was it rather tumultuous?
This could be VERY good... or VERY bad.
@Ruth I've never heard even a peep that they were anything but devoted to one another. No relationship is perfect, of course, but they were pretty far from this level of Burton/Taylor blow-outs.
@Rissi - I'm looking forward to reviews when it releases!
@Tasha B. - Well said, and oh so true. (I seriously don't think anyone can top Burton/Taylor!) It will be interesting to see how much of this is heavily fictionalized...
