The Julian Fellowes-penned Titanic miniseries has been given a US air date! Parts one through three will air on Saturday, April 14th, followed by part four on Sunday, April 15th. (The three hour Saturday installment is going to be intense, I'm sure!) Thanks to Kaye for the heads up about broadcast dates. Here's a new trailer:
Oh my goodness, do I know many people in that!! =D
ReplyDeleteOooh, I'd love to see it but afraid it will break my heart! Wonder if Cousin Patrick will make an appearance? lol...
ReplyDeleteIt looks good, though possibly not as super-amazing as I had hoped. :) It is nice to see so many familiar faces!

I am interested in seeing this - mainly because of Fellowes but I've a feeling it will be SO heartbreaking that it won't be something I'll want to watch again and again. Still, this will likely be my first Titanic movie. =)
ReplyDeleteExcitement!
ReplyDeleteCAN NOT WAIT!!! :o)
ReplyDeleteI find it amusing you would post this, since I spent about two hours yesterday obsessing over it, and finding out everything possible floating around on the internet about it. =D
ReplyDeleteOh how intriguing. Looks pretty good. I'm for anything Titanic-related.
ReplyDelete@Ella - I know, no kidding right? :)
ReplyDelete@Heather - Well as much fun as that would be, considering the actress also known as Vera Bates is playing a completely different character, I doubt it. ;)
@Kristin - Oh I'm still thinking it is in the running for super-amazing. :)
@Rissi - Very cool!
@Tasha - I KNOW!! EEP!!
@Christy - You and me both. Thankfully the wait isn't too long...
@Charity - Now why am I not surprised to hear that...? :)
@Jennifer - I agree, the production looks top-notch!
Oh my awesome. I'm obssessed with all things Titanic.
ReplyDeleteCool that they chose to air it on the anniversary.
ReplyDeleteMy young teenboy is currently obsessing over Titanic (ive just about requested as much titanic reads & picture books out of my library) so this will likely be a family watch - it will be weird to have commercials though! I don't understand how they broke it up so unevenly; 3hrs Sat & 1hr on Sun? Sat will be exhausting - I'll have the tissues ; hankies i mean (im old fashioned that way :) nearby
ReplyDelete@Juju - AND I'm glad we're not having to wait months and months AFTER a show like this airs in the UK. :)
ReplyDelete@Fanny/iz4blue - I know what you mean. Maybe the commercials will be relatively limited -- keeping my fingers crossed! And I'm sure this is going to be a VERY emotional viewing experience!
So many things to like here. I have chills. The first night will be something to watch! wow!
ReplyDeletenow, who mentioned cousin Patrick? too funny! But I want the guy on watch to SHOUT "ICE BERG DEAD AHEAD!" not just say it. jeepers.
IS Toby Jones actually getting a "NICE" character?
@Debra - You are not kidding! And I think you're right about Toby Jones...keeping my fingers crossed for him at any rate. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting about this miniseries! I'm looking forward to it!

@Tarissa - You're welcome! Me too -- it'll be here before we know it. :)
