In celebration of the new Jane Eyre film which FINALLY opens in my area of the world TODAY, I'm excited to launch a blog event celebrating all things Jane Eyre-related that I take a notion in my head to discuss. :)
The first thing you should know is that there is no set schedule for this event. If I created a schedule 1) I'd stress myself out trying to keep up with it and 2) nothing would ever got posted and 3) the posts wouldn't be a surprise! And who doesn't love the idea of Jane Eyre surprise posts?! *wink*
So this April (and possibly into May...possibly forever...who knows?!), you can look forward to reviews of film adaptations of the novel, my first ever "classic" book review (you have no idea how intimidating that thought is!), a couple of guest posts, and reviews of books and movies "inspired by" Jane Eyre (in my mind, anyway). :)
I'll be adding a button to the sidebar for easy access to the "All Things Jane" posts. Speaking of buttons, many thanks to my friend Lori for designing the Jane buttons for me! :)

ReplyDeleteAnd jealous, because the movie is not playing in my area (yet, anyway). Every time my mom sees the trailer on TV, she calls for me to come watch it. And then I whine about how who knows when I'll get to see it?? :)

ReplyDeleteThis sounds like lots of fun! I love Jane Eyre...and I am so sad that this movie doesn't seem to be playing within 100 miles of me :( how is this possible?! I've loved this book since high school and even painted my own version of Jane :) look forward to your reviews!
