Michael Buble - 12.5.10

Saturday night I received a text from a dear friend informing me that there were four tickets in my name at Will Call for the Michael Buble show the next night. *dramatic pause* Excuse me while I squeal with joy again. :) This is my third Buble show, and I perhaps have to rank it as the best yet. Here's some pictures (our seats were center stage, row 14, so this is the first time I've been able to get some really good concert shots):

I think this one may be my favorite:

Buble is an amazing live performer. He's got a stereotypical frat boy's sense of humor, so it's a bit on the crass side. But the guy is hilarious and undeniably talented, and I'd wager you'd be hardpressed to find a performer who loves what he does as much as Michael makes glaringly apparent in his shows. The guy really does give his all for his fans. Till next time, MB! :)

His stage sets keep getting fancier and fancier.

@Renee - Aww, thanks! :) Have you ever seen him in concert? If not I hope you get the chance soon!

@Kristin - Oh my goodness, I KNOW! :)

@heidenkind - I know, now that he is selling out huge arenas he has to make sure to play to the ENTIRE mob. *wink*

And all...forgot to mention, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were at the show...sadly I didn't see them personally but another friend of mine was sitting about two sections over. If only KU had come on stage with MB... *sigh* A girl can dream, right?

Lucky you to have seen him perform 3X! I would love to see him just once! Have you ever seen him interviewed? He really seems like such a very nice, down-to-earth person.
Love that close-up picture of him!

SO JEALOUS!! My mom and sister went to his concert this summer and raved about how gracious he was and how he thanked the audience for choosing to come to his concerts when ticket sales for concerts in general were really down.

@phylly3 - Oh I hope you get to see him live someday! It is truly amazing! And yeah, between interviews and his live shows, I LOVE how open he is about appreciating his fans. Very classy!

@Roving Reader - He is so gracious to his fans, I love it. He definitely never seems to take his life for granted!

@Juju - Glad you enjoyed the pics! :)

I had only ever seen "That Darn Cat" on the Hallmark channel before, until someone gave it to me on VHS a few weeks ago. I didn't remember any of the scenes with the nosy neighbor! I know I would have remembered her, because she was the "axe murderess" on an episode of "I Love Lucy." I wonder if they cut those scenes to shorten the time for TV...

I've never seen/heard of "Never a Dull Moment," but I love Dick Van Dyke, so I will definitely look into it. :)

I'm shocked, too! :) I'm ashamed to admit it, but I had never seen "Holiday Inn" until last Christmas! I've never seen "Holiday Affair," but I love "Christmas in Connecticut"! I just watched it again last night and will be posting about it very soon. :)

@Kristin - It's highly possible funny scenes were cut for stupid commercials. So glad you liked it! And I have to confess I don't know that I ever caught the "I Love Lucy" connection - I like that show but I'm not as big a fan as some people I know. :)

And yes, definitely look into the Dick Van Dyke movie, it's really cute!

I need to kick my Christmas movie watching into high gear. I've seen several Christmas movies on Hallmark but not really watched my DVD collection. Definitely try and watch Holiday Affair if you can!
