Here's a special sneak preview to the newest version of Jane Austen's Emma, starring Romola Garai and Jonny Lee Miller (*swoon*!), set to air on Masterpiece Classic 1/24/10.
I've seen the first three parts! I'm not sure that I love it as much as the previous versions with Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Beckinsale but it's pretty good so far!
@Renee - Very cool! Normally I would be hunting these down to watch online as well, but for some reason haven't been inspired enough, I guess. :) I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I know PBS will be airing them in January - unlike many other British "imports" that air across the pond with no announced air date in the States. THOSE frustrate me to no end.

ReplyDeleteI only managed to see the first two episodes of this before internet issues ruined things for me, but I enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, though that Gwyneth Paltrow (they could be PIRATES!) is nigh-untouchable as Emma for me.
