I started to read this authors take on the story of Anne Boleyn and... I thought her style of writing was... different. Anyway, I never finished it, but this cover is lovely and telling this story certainly makes the book sound interesting.
@Rissi - I LOVED her take on Anne Boleyn! Sounds like it wasn't quite your cup of tea, though. :/ You might like her Biblical fiction a bit better (keeping my fingers crossed!). :)
Perhaps I should give the author another try. I just didn't like her style of writing - I really wanted to finish the book because it was around the same time as "The Tudors" popularity, but I just couldn't get past Ginger Garrett's writing. Perhaps you are right, Ruth - maybe I would like these books better. And, I do LOVE the story of Esther. =D
@Rissi - Hey, sometimes you just don't "click" with an author -- I get that (it's happened to me on occasion LOL!). You could definitely check out her Esther book, or 'Dark Hour' (that was my first read by her).
